(NAPLES, Fla. March 31, 2010) - Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that Christen Spake has joined the firm's Naples office as an Associate Attorney.

Ms. Spake's practice is focused in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on business, commercial and real estate litigation. Representative matters include disputes involving developers, lenders, and community associations. She also has experience in government relations and local government law.

Ms. Spake received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2009, where she was a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law, one of the nation's top 15 Environmental Law Journals. She was also a co-recipient of the Journal's Articles & Notes Editor of the Year Award in 2009. She received her B.A. in English summa cum laude from Wingate University in 2005, and was the student selected to receive the Francis Vick English Award for Excellence in 2005 and the Haskins' Scholar-Athlete Award.
