(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. April 29, 2010) - Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that Mark D. Kushner has joined the firm's Fort Lauderdale office as an Associate Attorney. Mr Kushner was previously with Ruden McClosky, PA where he practiced for the past four years.

Mr. Kushner focuses his practice in the area of litigation with an emphasis on business, commercial and creditors' rights litigation. His practice includes representation of real estate developers, lenders and financial institutions, and local and nationally recognized businesses.

Mr. Kushner was a Judicial Intern for United States Magistrate Judge, the Honorable Barry S. Seltzer and a Certified Legal Intern in the Criminal Division of the Office of the Florida State Attorney, Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Kushner received his J.D. summa cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2005, where he was an Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Team and a teaching assistant. He received his B.A. with highest distinction at Babson College in 1991.
