Our attorneys in the Fort Myers office are actively involved in the investment and economic development of this rapidly growing region.  Several of our attorneys are certified by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization in City, County & Local Government Law.

A number of our attorneys contribute their experience and insight from former government and business positions to assist our clients. Some of these previously-held posts include General Counsel for Sanibel / Captiva Board of Realtors and a member of the Water Resources Advisory Commission for South Florida Water Management District.

In addition to our individual attorney's distinctions, the firm has been recognized for the seventh consecutive year as one of the "Fund Top 25" member firms for the Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund ("Fund 25"). The significance of this award is that of the 6,500 title agents in the State of Florida for The Fund (which is the largest title underwriter in the State), Roetzel & Andress is in the Top 25 for gross dollar volume in deals.

The Fort Myers office of Roetzel & Andress is located in the historic Franklin Arms building and has continued to grow, reflecting the expansion of the city itself. Moneymagazine recently ranked Fort Myers-Cape Coral as one of the "Best Places to Live in America."  The city is the historical and governmental hub of Lee County with city, county, state, and federal offices headquartered within walking distance of one another.
