Real Estate Development

Overview | Representative Services | Representative Matters

Our team of Real Estate Development attorneys at Roetzel & Andress assist clients with respect to the entire property development lifecycle, including acquisition, title insurance, financing, zoning, construction, leasing, and sale. Our clients include developers, builders, investors, and lenders. Within those groups, we represent entrepreneurial individuals to institutional investors and lenders.

We advise clients of alternative strategies for expanding, renovating, or disposing of existing real estate holdings. We also advise them on matters of property development, land use law, zoning law, purchase agreements, development agreements, retail development, strip center development, real estate subdivisions, commercial real estate, construction contracts and management, land conveyance and acquisition, real estate syndication, and title law.

DEVELOPER REPRESENTATION

Our attorneys counsel developers in all facets of the development cycle. We represent developers in the creation of condominium and homeowner communities, master planned subdivisions, recreational facilities, high rise beachfront condominiums, town homes and detached single family communities. Additionally, we routinely counsel on projects involving mixed-use residential, commercial and retail centers, country clubs, marina condominiums and hotel condominiums. At the start of a project, we work closely with the development team to prepare the governing documents, buyer disclosures and filings with the Division of Florida Condominium. Our attorneys are well versed in compliance and regulatory matters regarding the Florida Condominium Act, Florida Homeowners Association Act, Ohio Condominium Law (Ohio Revised Code, Title 53, Chapter 5311 Condominium Property), Federal statues and administrative regulations as they related to the development of real property, both residential and commercial.
