Attorney Lori R. Kilpeck Joins Roetzel & Andress in Cleveland

Roetzel & Andress is proud to announce that Lori R. Kilpeck has joined the firm as a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate, Tax & Transactional group. With a practice focused on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, probate and trust litigation, elder care, and guardianship law, Kilpeck brings extensive experience to her new role at Roetzel’s Cleveland office.

“Lori brings an abundance of experience to our firm with a strong background in estate planning and trust administration,” said Doug Spiker, Shareholder-in-Charge of Roetzel’s Cleveland Office. “Her work ethic and compassion for her clients are exactly what we look for in our attorneys. She will make a valuable addition to our team.”

Kilpeck works with her clients from preparing simple estate plans to implementing sophisticated planning techniques involving estate and gift tax planning, succession planning, and special needs trusts to meet the specific estate planning objectives unique to each client. She also provides counsel in contested estates that may lead to litigation due to issues such as undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and elder abuse.

Kilpeck received her J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and was admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida. While in law school, she was a law clerk for Judge Lawrence Allen of the Willoughby Municipal Court, where she later served as an acting Magistrate for several years.  Kilpeck received her B.A. from Cleveland State University.
