Beverly Grady, Partner-in-Charge of the Fort Myers office of Roetzel & Andress LPA, has been named the first-ever recipient of the Lee County Bar Association’s “President’s Award for Excellence in Journalism” by Lee County Bar Association President Anne Dalton.
In her remarks bestowing the award during a ceremony on December 18, 2015, Ms. Dalton noted that one of her goals as President of the Bar Association was to elevate the Bar Association’s magazine, Res Gestae, “to a new level of excellence.” Citing her years of practice, ethics, and professionalism, Ms. Dalton concluded that Ms. Grady would provide the “steady hand” that was needed to serve as the editor-in-chief and “guiding force behind elevating the Bar’s award winning magazine to a new level.”
Ms. Dalton further added that Ms. Grady “has devoted countless volunteer hours to her community, her church, and to the Bar. She has received many and varied honors during her years of practice….Even in the most difficult of professional circumstances which we have waded through together, she has never failed to act with dignity, courtesy, and with the highest ethical standards.”
Ms. Grady, Board Certified in City, County & Local Government Law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization, focuses her practice on environmental, zoning and land use, administrative, governmental relations, permitting issues and real estate matters. She holds an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubble Law Directory and is named to The Best Lawyers in America ® for Government Relations Practice, Land Use and Zoning Law, Land Use and Zoning Litigation, and Real Estate Law for 2016.
