James D. Fox Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in City, County and Local Government Law

Roetzel & Andress LPA announced today that James D. Fox, shareholder in its Naples office, has been named a Florida Bar Board Certified City, County and Local Government Law attorney. 

Board certified lawyers have met The Florida Bar’s highest standards for special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law, and just 7% of eligible to practice law in Florida have earned board certification. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify top legal specialists. 

Mr. Fox focuses his practice on matters involving civil litigation and government law. He has represented individual, education, government and corporate clients, in cases involving constitutional rights, land use, real estate, personal injury and wrongful death, construction defects, contract disputes, merchandise fabrication and shipping disputes, unfair trade practices and constitutional rights. 

Currently, Mr. Fox serves as School Board Chairman at St. John Neumann High School, the Ave Maria School of Law Board of Visitors and on the Parish Council at St. Agnes Church. Mr. Fox earned his law degree from Ave Maria School of Law, his master’s degree from Georgetown University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
