Roetzel & Andress attorney Jamie B. Schwinghamer has been selected as a 2023 “Leader in the Law” by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL). She will be recognized on June 21, 2023, during The Florida Bar Annual Convention at the Blue and Gold Reception.
The award recognizes FAWL members who have made meaningful contributions in their communities through their legal service or volunteer activities and who have provided a positive role model for other FAWL members.
Schwinghamer, Practice Group Manager of Probate, Trust & Guardianship Litigation at Roetzel, concentrates her practice in the areas of probate, trust and guardianship litigation. She counsels her clients on a variety of matters including, but not limited to: will and trust contests, disputed estate and trust administrations, trust modification, revocation and termination, surcharge and removal proceedings, elder guardianships, guardianship advocacy, guardianship litigation and appeals. Schwinghamer regularly represents individual and institutional trustees, personal representatives and guardians.
Schwinghamer is a Past President of the Collier County Women’s Bar Association. She is also a member of The Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and serves on several of the RPPTL Section’s Probate Division Committees. Schwinghamer is active in her local legal community, serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Collier County Bar Association, Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Collier County Bar Foundation and as Editor-in-Chief of the Collier County Bar Association’s Adverse Witness publication.
