Roetzel partner Marc Huling was recently installed as President of the Collier County Bar Foundation and President Elect of the Collier County Bar Association (CCBA). Mr. Huling has previously served the Association in the roles of Treasurer and Director.
“We have a great bar and I am glad to be of service,” said Mr. Huling. “I look forward to working with the members and officers to continue our service to lawyers and charity.”
The CCBA seeks to further the education of its members, advance ethical conduct, excellence, and professionalism through ongoing legal education, and connect the public with qualified attorneys. Through its charitable foundation, the CCBA provides opportunities for its membership to enhance the community through charitable activities.
Mr. Huling focuses his legal practice on business litigation, representing clients in a variety of matters involving business tort and contract litigation. He represents builders and developers, financial institutions, municipalities, employers, corporations, and individuals in business contract and injury disputes.
In addition to his involvement with CCBA, Mr. Huling is active in several other professional and philanthropic organizations, serving as President of the Collier Country Trial Lawyers Section and as a Board Member and Past Chair of the Collier County Law Library Trustees. He is a member of the Collier Building Industry Association and the Gulf Coast Runners. A graduate of Emory University and the Florida State University College of Law, where he served on law review, Mr. Huling has earned an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has been selected as a "Florida Super Lawyers - Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2009.
