Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that Brian D. Bremer has joined the firm’s Business Litigation Group as an associate in Akron.
Bremer will focus his practice in the areas of business litigation, construction, zoning, land use, eminent domain, and municipal and public law. With nearly 10 years working in a municipal law department and clerking for an appellate court, Bremer is adept at interpreting, analyzing, and distilling the law for his client’s benefit. He has successfully litigated contract disputes, construction disputes, eminent domain proceedings, and zoning matters.
Prior to joining Roetzel, Bremer served as the Assistant Law Director for the City of Akron for the last five years. He also worked as a law clerk in the Ninth District Court of Appeals for the Honorable Jennifer Hensal and for the Honorable Eve Belfance.
Bremer received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from John Carroll University. He is currently a member of the Akron Bar Association and the Scanlon/Bell Inn of Court.
