Roetzel & Andress LPA announced today that Kristin A. Philips has joined the firm’s Naples office as an associate in its Estate Planning Group.
Ms. Philips dedicates her practice to estate and trust planning, probate, and trust administration. She has experience in all areas of estate and gift tax planning including charitable planning, special needs trusts, long-term care planning and asset preservation. She collaborates with individuals, families and businesses to recommend and draft tailored plans that implement each client’s personal, financial and charitable goals and assists clients with the formation of business entities.
Ms. Philips earned her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
She is a member of the Real Property and Trust Law Section, Young Lawyers Section, Tax Law Section and Solo & Small Firms Section of the Florida Bar. Ms. Philips is also a member of the Trusts & Estates section and Young Lawyers Section of the Collier County Bar Association and is a member of the Collier County Women’s Law Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, American Bar Association and Michael R. N. McDonnell Inns of Courts. She has also served on the Planned Giving Advisory Council at St. Matthew’s House since 2018.
Ms. Philips is frequently called upon by various publications and organization to share insight into the importance of estate planning. She has given presentations and authored articles to educate other attorneys and the community on estate planning best practices.
