Roetzel Attorney Karen D. Adinolfi Appointed to Ohio State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Section Council

Roetzel is pleased to announce that partner Karen D. Adinolfi has been named to the Labor & Employment Section Council of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA). The section is comprised of legal professionals interested in regulatory, legislative, and judicial matters related to labor and employment law. The section also works to serve as a resource to help members communicate with each other and share knowledge.

“We are very proud of Karen and her appointment to the OSBA Labor and Employment Section Council,” said Douglas Spiker, Practice Group Manager of Roetzel’s Employment Services Group. “She always endeavors to keep herself, her colleagues, and her clients up to speed on legal issues in labor and employment law and her appointment to the council indicates that her peers at the OSBA recognize her skills in that area as well.”

Ms. Adinolfi focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation, regulatory compliance, and union matters. She has represented her clients in matters such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation, wage and hour litigation, arbitration proceedings, and appeals and administrative proceedings before the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Unemployment Compensation Review Commission, and U.S. Department of Labor.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Adinolfi is active in several civic organizations, serving on the boards of the Akron Blind Center and the Summit County Historical Society. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Akron Bar Association. Ms. Adinolfi earned her J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law, her M.A. from Kent State University, and her B.A. from The University of Toledo.
