On October 17-18, 2013, Roetzel & Andress partner Robert D. Pritt conducted a seminar for more than 100 attendees on Florida’s Government-in-the-Sunshine Law and Public Records Law. Elected officials, staff and volunteers received instruction on the complexities and nuances of both laws, with an eye toward maintaining transparency in government actions.
Sponsored by the ManaSota League of Cities, the City of Sarasota and the John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government at the University of South Florida, the seminar was, “well attended with Mr. Pritt providing a very thorough approach to public records and sunshine laws,” said ManaSota League of cities President Jack Duncan. “The presentation was timely, illuminating, and well-received by all attendees with ample time provided for questions.”
