Roetzel & Andress LPA announced today that shareholders Christopher D. Donovan and Paul A. Giordano have been recognized in the 2019 edition of Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite™.
To compile the list, Florida Trend invited all actively practicing Florida attorneys to name the lawyers that they hold in highest regard – attorneys with whom they have personally worked and would recommend to others. The winner list represents just over 1% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida.
Mr. Donovan has been recognized by Florida Trend magazine for the third time in his career. In 2016, Mr. Donovan was selected as a “Legal Elite Up & Comer” and in 2018 was chosen as a “Legal Elite” in Appellate Practice. He is one of only three attorneys in Collier, Lee and Charlotte County to have the honor of being Board Certified in Appellate Practice by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization. His practice focuses exclusively on appellate and original-jurisdiction proceedings in both state and federal court.
Mr. Giordano, who was previously honored as a “Legal Elite” for Bankruptcy & Workout in 2013 and 2016, is now garnering the recognition for the second consecutive year in Commercial Litigation. Mr. Giordano handles a variety of business, commercial and baking litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, troubled debt restructuring, workouts, and related litigation, partnerships disputes, commercial foreclosures, contract and corporate disputes, construction liens, real estate dispute litigation, and general and professional liability lawsuits.
