Roetzel’s Tom Rosenberg Elected to the Board of Governors of the American College of Construction Lawyers

Thomas L. Rosenberg, a Shareholder at Roetzel & Andress, was elected to the Board of Governors of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). Mr. Rosenberg will serve a three-year term and joins the team that provides strategic guidance and leadership to this organization of construction law practitioners, professors and judges. 

“This well-deserved recognition reflects highly on Tom’s knowledge and dedication to his construction practice and the construction law industry,” said Roetzel Chairman Bob Blackham. “To be elected to this distinguished position with the ACCL is a significant honor and one that confirms Tom is practicing at the highest levels of the profession.” 

The ACCL is a national organization of lawyers who have demonstrated skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice, or in the teaching, of construction law. Mr. Rosenberg has been serving as a Fellow in the ACCL since 2016 and is only one of three attorneys in Ohio to hold the prestigious title. ACCL has a limited membership of lawyers from the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia and France. 

Mr. Rosenberg focuses his practice on construction law and civil litigation, and leads Roetzel’s Construction Law practice, which has been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the best law firms nationally and/or regionally for construction and construction litigation from 2012 to 2021.

Mr. Rosenberg, past Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, has been honored by Chambers USA as a leading construction lawyer in Ohio since 2003. He has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine for the past 18 years and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for construction law and construction litigation. Mr. Rosenberg has been recognized in International Who’s Who in Construction Law for his international construction law practice. 

An arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, Mr. Rosenberg is also former chairperson of Division 4 - Project Delivery Systems, and former member of the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association, Forum on Construction Law, former chairperson of the Lawyers Group of the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, former chairperson of the Construction Law Committee of the Columbus (Ohio) Bar Association, and a member of the Construction Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. He has served as an arbitrator and mediator in construction disputes on projects of all sizes.

Mr. Rosenberg is also a published author in Construction Litigation. He served as Content Editor, Contributing Author and Author Coordinator on The Effective Use of Forensic Experts in Construction Litigation.
