Ronald S. Kopp named OSBA president

Congratulations to Ron Kopp, who was sworn in today as President of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA). He was elected as president on May 1, 2015, and will officially take office on July 1, 2016. 

Ron has a long and proud history with the OSBA, having served as President-Elect, as a member of its Board of Governors, as Chair of the Budget & Headquarters Committee, and on its Audit Committee. He is a past President of the Akron Bar Association, and former governor of the Akron Bar Foundation Board. He has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of Akron College of Law.

Ron joined Roetzel in 1979, and has focused his practice on Business Litigation since that time, handling complex business litigation and commercial disputes. He has served in various leadership positions at Roetzel, including having led the Business Litigation and Business Services practice groups, as well as serving as Managing Partner of the Akron office. Ron currently serves as the firm's Administrative Partner and as the firm's assistant general counsel.
