Overview

Mr. Mulligan works with family owned businesses in all areas of business, real estate, and succession planning. During his 37 years of practice, he has worked with numerous families as they transition from one generation to the next. His clients have included franchisees and distributors who are multi-unit operators throughout the U.S. and Canada in the fast food, beer and wine, specialty foods, and grocery industries. He has assisted numerous clients as they establish, form, and run their business, in addition to counseling them on issues relating to organizational structure, taxation, buy/sell planning amongst owners and acquisition, and sale of businesses.

  • Sale/leaseback of over 70 fastfood restaurant locations in the U.S.
  • Representing interest of individual partners as they buy in and partner with larger multi-unit operators to acquire additional franchises in Florida, Arizona, and Colorado
  • Representation of numerous purchasers of Wendy’s,  KFC, and Wingstop franchises in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Washington, Vancouver, West Virginia, Texas, Indiana, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Connecticut
