With decades of public affairs experience, Lewis is a sought-after advisor for procurement, government relations, and for creating and executing complex strategies to help clients reach their goals. He serves as lead strategist to numerous large, public and private entities throughout Ohio and Washington, D.C. He has also advised developers on several multi-million dollar development projects. His clients include public and private entities, as well as diversified energy companies, governmental entities, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Lewis is on the Board of Trustees for the University of Akron.

As Director of Roetzel Consulting Solutions, Galen focuses on providing comprehensive strategic solutions for public, private, and nonprofit clients at the state and local level. Her experience includes providing strategic counsel to assist public entities, local school districts, libraries, private corporations, and trade associations reach their specific goals. Additionally, she has extensive experience in traditional governmental relations, including procurement. Galen has been involved in the political process and has campaign experience with public libraries, county reform, community colleges, park systems, local schools, and human services. She has also provided strategic counsel to local and state candidates.
Galen’s professional experience provides a unique perspective on the interactions between private sector and government. Prior to her consulting career, she was the Chief Counsel for the City of Cleveland, managing all Collective Bargaining, Labor and Employment, Real Estate Development, and Public Records law sections. She also served as an Executive Assistant to the Mayor of Cleveland, focusing on communications and labor relations. Galen began her legal career as a guardian ad litem, later moving to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office where she served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney representing Children and Family Services. In that role, she prosecuted neglect, abuse, and dependency complaints.

As a Director of Roetzel Consulting Solutions, Matt brings 25 years of state and national political experience to RCS, to shape strategies and tactics that help clients achieve their goals. As a veteran political participant and advisor for many successful political campaigns at the local, state, federal, and national levels, he has built a strong political network throughout Ohio and the United States.
In 2013, Matt was elected Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, having previously served as its Executive Director. He served as Chairman from 2013 to 2017.
Matt’s previous experience includes serving as Executive Director for the Kasich-Taylor New Day Inaugural Committee and managing Dave Yost’s successful campaign for Ohio Auditor of State. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager for Treasurer of State Joseph Deters. He was also a lead representative for Senator John McCain and Sarah Palin’s Presidential bid in 2008, and worked with the Office of the Vice President, Dick Cheney, where he acted as Lead Advance Representative from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, he ran the successful 2010 primary bid for Bob Gibbs for Congress and consulted for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) in 1992, 2000, and 2010.
Diana counsels small and large companies, government organizations, and nonprofit entities on legislative matters in a diverse range of industries.
Prior to joining RCS, Diana worked in Washington, D.C. for a Member of Congress where she staffed key committees, including the House Committee on Rules, the Judiciary Committee, and the Energy and Commerce Committee. She also worked at a government relations firm in Washington, D.C. where she represented clients before Congress and the Executive Branch on a variety of federal issues, including those related to health care, education, and transportation.

As a Director of Roetzel Consulting Solutions, Julius helps clients navigate where the public and private sectors intersect, helping clients find meaningful solutions to their strategic goals.
Julius built his career in public utilities. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, where he oversaw all aspects of managing one of the nation’s largest wastewater management utilities. In that role, Julius oversaw compliance with a $3 billion, 25-year EPA consent decree for a long-term control plan to significantly reduce combined sewer overflows, and oversaw development and implementation of a new stormwater management program.
Julius’ prior experience includes an established career in public utilities beginning in 1977, when he was appointed the Assistant Director of the Public Utilities Department for the City of Cleveland. In 1979, he took on the temporary role of Commissioner of Cleveland Water until 1981, when he assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner of Cleveland Water and was eventually appointed Commissioner in 1988. During his 25 years in the Division of Water, Julius oversaw the management of over $1 billion worth of capital improvement projects and maintained the Division of Water’s very favorable financial position. He also served as the Director of the city’s Department of Public Utilities from 2004 to 2007.
Julius’ professional affiliations include the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, American Water Works Association, Water Research Foundation, US Water Alliance, and the National Association of Clean Water Agencies. In each organization, he has served on the board and as an officer.
As a Director of Roetzel Consulting Solutions, Alex brings a wealth of government experience to the team, with an extensive network of relationships throughout Ohio and the U.S.
Most recently, Alex served for two years as Personal Aide to Ohio Governor John Kasich before gaining additional responsibilities as Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs. In that role he advocated on behalf of the Kasich administration on issues relevant to the departments of Transportation, Public Safety, Commerce, the Office of Budget Management, and the Development Services Agency during the transportation and operating budgets. In addition, Alex met directly with members of the Ohio General Assembly to advocate for the administration’s positions, and coordinated with legislative staff in agencies to deliver success on policy initiatives. His prior experience also includes work as a campaign manager for Ohio State Representative Tim Brown in 2014 and as a legislative aide to Ohio State Representative Tim Ginter in 2015.
Ms. Monash serves Roetzel Consulting Solutions' governmental and business interests in the Washingon D.C. and Baltimore areas. For more than two decades, she has represented global, national and regional corporate clients in federal and municipal arenas.
Ms. Monash provides government affairs and public relations consulting services specializing in political access, public sector visibility, brand management, business development, and strategic planning primarily to engineering and construction companies in the water/wastewater and transportation industries. Her career has included non-profit youth advocacy and program development along with private sector political engagement.
