Roetzel is pleased to announce that Lewis W. Adkins Jr. has been appointed to the University of Akron Board of Trustees. This nine-year appointment, which began February 3, 2017, and ends July 1, 2025, was announced by the office of Governor Kasich.
Mr. Adkins leads the firm’s Public Law practice. He serves as lead counsel to numerous large, public, and private entities throughout Ohio and Washington, D.C. Mr. Adkins has also acted as lead counsel for several multi-million dollar development projects. His clients include public and private entities, as well as diversified energy companies, governmental entities, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Mr. Adkins previously served as General Counsel to Summit County, Ohio.
