As recognized leaders within their industry, these peer nominated Women Leaders in Law are regarded for their leadership, vision, and ability to effect growth in the professional and civic organizations they serve.
To be considered for inclusion in Florida Trend Legal Elite NOTABLE - Women Leaders in Law, nominated attorneys must meet specific methodology and criteria measures. These include being based in Florida and being in good standing with the Florida Bar Association. Additionally, the attorneys must be practicing at a law firm with an employee size of at least 10 and be nominated by their law firm, accompanied by a letter of recommendation from senior management.
Furthermore, the honorees must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the legal profession and have made a measurable and specific impact in the types of cases handled, and/or pro bono work. They must also demonstrate a commitment to mentoring or sponsoring other attorneys and promoting professional practices and values in the workplace. Additionally, leadership in professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives is a crucial factor in earning this accolade.
