Roetzel attorney Jeremy S. Young graduated from the Ohio State Bar Association’s 2016 Leadership Academy on May 20. The academy is a statewide leadership program established to identify, train, and empower attorneys to be knowledgeable, dedicated, and involved so they are qualified to fill significant leadership roles in the local and state bar associations, local communities, and organizations. The program is designed for attorneys who have been practicing between five and ten years, and who are interested in receiving instruction in areas of personal and professional development. The selected group of 24 attorneys participated in six sessions spanning several months, which focused on various topics such as leadership, ethics and professionalism, community service, and economic development. Each session involved speakers and mentors that included leaders from the bench and bar, state and local government, and the community.
Mr. Young is an associate in Roetzel’s Columbus office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation group. He focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on eminent domain, property-related litigation and appellate law.
