Overview
John (“Jay”) is a creditors’ rights attorney who focuses on banking and business matters. He has extensive experience representing banks, special servicers, and other secured parties in commercial real estate workout matters, including mortgage foreclosures, receiverships, deed in lieu transactions, forbearances, and REO sales involving a wide range of properties such as industrial, office, retail, multi-family, hotels, and golf courses. In addition, Jay represents equipment lessors, commercial landlords, and housing associations and is experienced in protecting clients' security interests in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings and defending preference and fraudulent transfer claims.
