Roetzel & Andress LPA announced today that Geena Kandel has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Corporate, Tax & Transactional Group in Naples.
Ms. Kandel focuses her practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, Florida domicile planning, and guardianship. She brings a highly personalized approach to estate planning and assists individual clients with all aspects of estate planning and family wealth transfers. Ms. Kandel is experienced in the preparation of wills, the preparation and funding of revocable and irrevocable trusts, and the preparation of powers of attorney and other ancillary estate planning documents.
Ms. Kandel is a member of the Florida Bar Association, as well as the Young Lawyers Section and Trusts and Estates Section of the Florida Bar Association. She is a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL), the Collier County Bar Association, and the Lee County Bar Association. Ms. Kandel is a member of the Class of 2021 for the Associate Leadership Collier program (formerly known as GAIN) and is active with the Young Professionals of Naples and the Jewish Young Professionals groups in Naples
Ms. Kandel earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Psychological & Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. She went on to earn both her J.D., cum laude, and LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
