Roetzel & Andress LPA shareholders Chris Donovan and Jamie Schwinghamer were sworn in as Officers of the Collier County Bar Association (CCBA) during the 2022 CCBA Installation Luncheon at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club this afternoon. Donovan will be serve as Treasurer, while Schwinghamer will serve as Secretary.
Donovan is one of only two attorneys in Collier, Lee, and Charlotte County to have the honor of being Board Certified in Appellate Practice by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He focuses his practice on appellate and original-jurisdiction proceedings in both state and federal court. Donovan also provides litigation-support services, such as preserving the record, drafting jury instructions, and writing dispositive motions. With over 18 years of appellate experience, he has handled over 200 different appellate matters involving a broad range of legal areas, including commercial, real estate, admiralty, employment, probate, family, constitutional, and administrative law. Donovan also represents a wide range of industries, including local governments, businesses, developers, banks, and community associations.
Schwinghamer, Practice Group Manager of Probate, Trust & Guardianship Litigation at Roetzel, concentrates her practice in the areas of probate, trust, guardianship and complex commercial litigation. She counsels her clients on a variety of matters including, but not limited to: will and trust contests, disputed estate and trust administrations, trust modification, revocation and termination, surcharge and removal proceedings, elder guardianships, guardianship advocacy, guardianship litigation, business contracts, shareholder and partnership disputes and appeals. Schwinghamer regularly represents individual and institutional trustees, personal representatives, guardians and business owners.
