A shareholder and leader of the firm’s Health Care Group, Adler has nearly 25 years of experience representing individual providers, physician groups, and other health care entities, such as home health care agencies, DME companies, hospices, MRI facilities, and surgery centers. She focuses her practice on regulatory and transactional health care law, in compliance counseling, structuring, and implementing complex joint ventures to comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Adler handles mergers, sales and acquisitions of healthcare entities and has extensive experience in completing transactions with private equity, hospitals and other third parties.
Adler has demonstrated a commitment to her clients by advocating for education. She started Roetzel HealthLaw HotSpot® in 2019, a podcast and YouTube channel for physicians and health professionals that covers the legal issues and trends that affect the health care industry. Adler was named a “Go-To Thought Leader” in Health Care in 2021 by The National Law Review, and most recently, her podcast was listed among the “20 Best Health & Medical Law Podcasts” by Feedspot.com
Adler currently serves on the DePaul Health Law Institute advisory board, previously served on the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys board, has taught as an adjunct professor of health law at DePaul and has served as a mentor for younger attorneys.
