Ms. Davis focuses her practice on medical defense and product liability. She has a wide range of experience defending both hospitals and doctors, in addition to defending product liability cases concerning automobiles, asbestos, and mold and popcorn litigation. Ms. Davis has earned an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Robert Casarona, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Cleveland office, has been named “Lawyer of the Year” for Environmental Litigation in Cleveland. Mr. Casarona focuses his practice on complex disputes with emphasis on environmental, construction and business litigation. He has served as the lead trial counsel in cases throughout the United States, and has argued appeals in several districts and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubble Law Directory, has been designated by his peers as an “Ohio Super Lawyer” since 2004, as well as recognized as a top lawyer in The Best Lawyers in America© since 2006. Mr. Zaremba is a partner in the firm’s Toledo office and is recognized as the “Lawyer of the Year” in Toledo for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law. He has more than 30 years of experience representing Fortune 500 companies in civil litigation and financial institutions in restructurings, reorganizations and insolvency proceedings. He was lead trial counsel for the Trustee appointed to liquidate the stockbrokerage firm of Bell & Beckwith following discovery of a $40 million theft from its customers. More recently, he was appointed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio as the Trustee for the liquidation of two additional stockbrokerage firms, Continental Capital Investment Services and Continental Capital Securities, Inc., following the discovery of a massive Ponzi scheme perpetrated on many of their customers.
