As the country’s largest performing arts center outside of New York, Playhouse Square utilizes the arts to engage individuals and attract more than one million guests per year to its 1,000+ annual events. These audiences act as the catalyst for economic growth and vitality within the region.

Also, Playhouse Square has the largest season ticket holder base in the country for touring Broadway productions at over 46,000. Cleveland is also among an elite group of cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C., able to support touring Broadway shows for three weeks.
