Roetzel is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2016, partner Lori L. Moore, a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney in Real Estate Law, will assume the role of President of the Naples / Fort Myers chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), having served as President-Elect during 2015. Ms. Moore will serve for a one-year term.
Founded in 1989, CREW is the industry’s premier business networking organization dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate, with more than 9,000 network members in over 70 major markets across North America. CREW provides business leadership and networking, industry research, and training to its members, which represent nearly every discipline within commercial real estate, including law, brokerage, leasing, property management, finance, development, and others. The Naples / Fort Myers chapter is committed to recruiting new members to expand CREW’s influence in Southwest Florida and providing relevant and quality programs, as well as great networking opportunities and social events, throughout 2016.
Ms. Moore focuses her practice on real estate matters and represents and counsels both buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, landlords, tenants, developers and lenders in all aspects of real estate matters including: acquisitions and sales, commercial and residential leasing, financing, and ownership issues related to submerged lands. She also represents and counsels lenders in financial transactions and distressed loan situations and has extensive experience litigating real estate matters, including contract leasing disputes.
Selected as a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” every year since 2010, Ms. Moore earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, cum laude, and her B.A. from the University of North Florida, summa cum laude. In addition to her association with CREW, she also engages with the professional community through her involvement with the Real Estate Investment Society of Lee County (REIS), and the Lee County and Florida Bar Associations.
