Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce the addition of Carolann A. Swanson, who joined the Fort Myers office as counsel in the firm’s Business Litigation Group.
Swanson is an experienced litigator who has tried cases in federal and state courts and before numerous state and federal regulatory agencies including the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
Swanson previously served as an associate attorney at Roetzel’s Fort Myers office. She was also a former general counsel of a large closely-held company in Miami Dade County and a former partner in a Coral Gables litigation firm. She is also an experienced arbitrator who has heard complex international contractual disputes and Florida circuit civil matters. Swanson is a passionate advocate for her clients’ interests and a realistic business advisor.
Swanson is the president of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers, the docent chair of the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Florida Southwestern State College and a member of the Florida Southwestern State College Legacy Society.
Swanson earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Stetson University.
