Roetzel Attorney Lori Moore Recertified in Real Estate Law by Florida Bar

Lori L. Moore, Shareholder-in-Charge of Roetzel’s Fort Myers office, was recently recertified by the Florida Bar Board in Real Estate Law.

Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in various areas of law, together with professionalism and ethics in practice. Certified attorneys are the only lawyers allowed to use the terms “specialist,” or “expert,” or the initials “B.C.S.” when referring to their legal credentials. Board certified attorneys must meet a number of criteria in order to earn certification, including a passing grade on a rigorous, practice-area specific examination, and a peer-reviewed assessment of competence in the field, plus demonstrated character, ethics, and professionalism.

Ms. Moore focuses her practice in commercial real estate and banking, with extensive experience handling financial transactions and loan workouts from both the lender and borrower perspectives. Her practice also includes representation of owners, developers, and companies in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and title claims work, and corporate governance and transactional matters.

Having spent a number of years practicing in real estate and commercial litigation, Ms. Moore has been involved in both trials and dispute resolution. Her litigation experience allows her to provide unique analysis to real estate issues from both a litigation and transactional perspective.

In addition to her Board Certification, Ms. Moore is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© for Real Estate Law (2018) and is an active member of a number of both professional and real-estate related organizations, including the Lee County Bar Association, the Real Estate Investment Society of Lee County (REIS), Commercial Real Estate Women - Southwest Florida Chapter (CREW), and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
