Roetzel & Andress attorneys Moriah Cheatham Williams and Lauren Zidones were selected by Crain’s Cleveland Business as 2022 “20 in their Twenties” honorees.
The “20 in their Twenties” class are selected by Crain’s editorial staff. They were selected based on professional accomplishments and nonprofit and civic involvement with the aim of recognizing a diverse range of people and industries.
Cheatham Williams, an associate attorney in the firm’s Akron office, is a member of the Products/Transportation Group. She defends insurance carriers, their insureds, and businesses against claims involving personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death.
Outside of the legal arena, Cheatham Williams’ community service efforts are far-reaching. She is a Barberton Community Foundation Board Member where she serves on the economic development committee, scholarship committee and finance committee. She is also a member of the Barberton Kiwanis Club, a volunteer with the Barberton Police Department, a volunteer with Barberton City Schools where she serves on the Key Communicator Committee to assist and coordinate community partnerships for the Year 13 Program. In addition, Cheatham Williams is a member of the Greater Akron Chamber Equity & Inclusion Committee, a volunteer with Barberton’s Community Holiness Church, serves as treasurer of The Honorable Betty Sutton’s campaign, and volunteers with Akron’s Bounce Innovation Hub. She is also a member of Roetzel’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Zidones, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group, is an associate in the firm’s Akron office. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate and general business law. She counsels buyers and sellers of real estate, homeowner associations and condominium associations, landlords and tenants, and real estate developers. In addition, Zidones advises for-profit and non-profit entities on entity selection, formation, and corporate governance matters.
Zidones is a member of the Cleveland and Greater Akron Chapters of CREW (The Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network), Akron Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. She is a board member for the Highland Square Neighborhood Association, Keep Akron Beautiful, and the Akron Law Alumni Association.
