Overview

Heather is a shareholder in firm's Corporate, Tax, and Transactional Group. Her legal practice is focused on creditors' rights and bankruptcy. She has established a successful practice by working closely with creditors, debtors, and financial institutions to resolve complex legal matters. Heather regularly counsels her clients on commercial transactions, including collections, receiverships, foreclosures, reorganizations, restructurings, and workouts. She also provides representation for all aspects of bankruptcy cases, including bankruptcy litigation.

In addition to her work in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, Heather also assists clients with corporate and real estate transactions. She negotiates and drafts commercial loan transactions, credit agreements, cognovits, promissory notes, security agreements, and forbearance agreements. Heather also negotiates and drafts purchase and sale agreements, mortgages, leases, and subordination and non-attornment agreements.
