Peter J. LoPalo

Peter focuses his practice on transportation litigation and liability defense. He represents a broad range of commercial transportation carriers, from local companies to large national operations, and manages all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts from the initial claim through resolution.

He also has extensive experience in hospitality litigation, defending hotel chains and restaurants in premises liability matters. In addition, he handles claims involving alleged violations of the Consumer Sales Practices Act (CSPA) for automotive dealerships, working closely with general counsel throughout the litigation process.

Peter collaborates with Roetzel’s Oil and Gas Group, assisting with matters involving oil and mineral rights, property leases, and ownership disputes. Before joining Roetzel, he gained experience in a wide range of civil litigation areas, including dram shop, commercial transportation, professional liability, medical malpractice, construction accident, premises liability and hospitality liability matters.
