Public Finance

The public finance attorneys at Roetzel offer extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of public finance law. We serve as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, issuer's counsel, disclosure counsel and trustee's counsel, and frequently represent providers of credit enhancement for private and public sector projects.

We have significant experience in the issuance of general obligation, special obligation and revenue obligation debt issuances of all types, including the negotiation and coordination of economic development incentives supporting those debt issuances. We also have significant experience acting as bond counsel for the issuance of port authority bond funds and special revenue debt issuances supporting billions of dollars of public infrastructure and private investment. We assist clients in the areas of debt structuring with fixed and variable rate securities, incentive finance, and leasing, including capital and operating lease revenue obligations. We act as bond counsel for governmental and private uses, 501(c)(3) organizations, exempt facility operators, and low-income housing developers.
