Jonna’s deep industry knowledge and practical, business-focused approach define her work as a seasoned health care and corporate attorney. Professionals and executives regularly rely on her judgment and experience to guide complex legal and business decisions.

In the health care space, Jonna advises physicians and physician groups, as well as dentists, behavioral health clinicians, veterinarians, and other health care providers, on forming new practices, selling established practices, negotiating employment and shareholder agreements, and navigating regulatory matters. She also represents concierge medicine practices and counsels providers using innovative practice models.

Jonna regularly advises on the formation of management services organizations (MSOs) and the structuring of transactions involving private equity. She represents health care practices, law firms, and other professional practices in MSO formation and private equity transactions, and is widely recognized for her work representing both law firms and investors in structuring law firm–MSO partnerships. She also works with private equity firms and other investors in health care and legal services deals.

As a corporate attorney, Jonna counsels licensed professionals, including lawyers and accountants, as well as C-suite executives, on corporate governance, employment matters, and complex business transactions. Many of her clients rely on her to serve as outside general counsel, providing day-to-day guidance on the legal and business issues that arise as their organizations grow.
