Robert W. Schrimpf

Rob represents trucking companies, truck drivers, insurers, and retailers in transportation, aviation and personal injury litigation. His experience includes defending a truck driver whose disabled vehicle was struck by an intoxicated motorist and representing the estate of a deceased pilot in litigation arising from a fatal aircraft accident.

An experienced aircraft owner and pilot, Rob brings firsthand aviation knowledge to his litigation practice. He has been a private pilot for more than 20 years and holds Airplane Single-Engine Land and Sea ratings, as well as a tailwheel endorsement. Rob also serves on the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Legal Services Plan Attorney Panel and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Air and Space Law at the University of Mississippi.

Before joining Roetzel, Rob served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Hamilton County, where he gained substantial trial experience as First Chair in 18 jury trials and more than 100 bench trials. During his time as a prosecutor, he investigated and prosecuted numerous serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents.
