Stephanie helps employers from small businesses to large companies in the private and public sectors and everything in-between resolve and avoid employment lawsuits. She counsels them on compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, including the FMLA, ADA, and FLSA, as well as contract, policy, and discipline/discharge issues that regularly arise.

In addition, she defends employers against all types of employment-related litigation matters, including claims of discrimination based on race, gender, disability, age, and sexual harassment, as well as hostile work environment, wage and hour, and Section 1983 claims. Stephanie also is experienced in handling public accommodation related matters.

Stephanie is well-versed in defending private and public sector employers through the labor grievance process and in labor arbitration matters. She has also assisted in matters before the State Employment Relations Board.

Stephanie has particular strengths in helping her clients navigate employment-related immigration issues, including I-9 employment eligibility verification, termination of foreign workers, pre-hire considerations, and other business immigration matters. She also assists employers in obtaining employment-based visas and “green card” permanent residence for prospective/current employees.

Clients appreciate her efficiency and responsiveness and rely on her critical thinking and communication skills to identify strategies and solutions to their employment challenges.
