Manufacturing

The attorneys on Roetzel’s manufacturing industry team provide comprehensive and cost-efficient representation built on a deep understanding of the challenges facing manufacturers across the country and around the world.

Roetzel’s team includes product liability and personal injury litigators and attorneys specializing in M&A, real estate, environmental compliance, and IP.

We help our clients negotiate labor contracts, finance operations, acquire U.S. and foreign entities, and distribute their products. Our legal team defends their intellectual property and resolves national and international commercial challenges, as well as disputes involving cross-border enforcement of contracts and commercial agreements. We provide sophisticated customs and export control regulatory advice and establish compliance programs that satisfy requirements of U.S. customs laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act.

Our legal work includes representing a private equity fund in the acquisition of a U.S. thermoplastic sheet-making company; assisting a manufacturer in its $51.5 million preferred stock financing; and advising the world’s largest water treatment products fabricator in numerous acquisitions of product lines, manufacturing and distribution facilities, and technology. In addition, our attorneys have established joint ventures for the manufacture and distribution of various types of products in South and Central America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Australia, and Korea, including licensing of trademarks and other intellectual property.

Roetzel’s multidisciplinary team includes product liability and personal injury litigators and attorneys specializing in mergers and acquisitions, real estate, environmental compliance, and intellectual property. Collectively, they have advised manufacturers in a wide range of sectors, such as industrial products, mobile technology, construction supplies, alcohol and tobacco products, tires and other automotive components, power and industrial tools, agricultural equipment, and household appliances.
