Overview

Paul focuses his practice on employee benefit matters, regulatory compliance, labor and employment litigation, negotiating collective bargaining agreements for employers, and assisting in all aspects of employment-related issues. He has been recognized repeatedly by The Best Lawyers in America for Employment Law and Labor Law Management and for his work in Labor Law - Union matters.

As an experienced trial lawyer, Paul has prevailed in numerous jury trials on behalf of employers, and dozens of arbitrations.  He regularly represents clients in federal and state court in cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination (including whistleblower claims), wage and hour matters, workplace safety matters, and stat law torts, through all stages of litigation, including appeal.

He also has extensive experience handling traditional labor law matters adverse to labor unions, such as collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, NLRB proceedings, and organizing campaigns.  He has negotiated more than 75 collective bargaining agreements and prevailed in more than 40 labor arbitrations.

Paul is a member of the Roetzel & Andress Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
