Impacts of the Corporate Transparency Act

"In January of 2021, Congress passed the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) imposing new reporting requirements for all entities
formed or registered to do business in the United States. While the CTA was intended to strengthen anti-money laundering laws
and make it more difficult to commit financial crimes or avoid taxes in the United States, the breadth of the CTA will impose significant burdens on small businesses in the form of additional administrative work, compulsory disclosure and loss of anonymity, and compliance costs....."
