Attorney Nancy Franks-Straus Joins Roetzel & Andress in Chicago

Roetzel & Andress announced today that Nancy Franks-Straus has joined the firm’s Corporate, Tax & Transactional Group as a shareholder in its Chicago office.

With over 30 years of experience, Franks-Straus will focus her practice in tax law and trusts and estates. She will help individuals and families plan their estates, administer estates, successfully minimize income and estate tax burdens and avoid controversies with the IRS. 

Franks-Straus is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, in accounting from Ohio Northern University and her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School. She also earned her LL.M., summa cum laude, in taxation from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law. Franks-Straus is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, where she served as Chair of the Federal Taxation Council, as well as the Chicago Estate Planning Council, Bohemian Lawyers’ Association and the Exclusive Professional Women’s Networking Group (EPWNG).
