Roetzel & Andress LPA is pleased to announce that partner Denise Hasbrook was elected today to Chair the Board of Trustees for Mercy Health – Toledo. Mercy Health – Toledo serves the residents of 20 counties in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. It operates 7 hospitals (including a Level One Trauma facility) and nearly 130 ambulatory sites across the region. Mercy Health - Toledo is part of the Mercy Health organization, the largest health system in Ohio. Since becoming a member of the Mercy Health - Toledo Board of Trustees in 2007, Ms. Hasbrook has served on the Finance Committee and chaired both the Ethics and Strategic Planning Committees.
Ms. Hasbrook focuses her practice on shareholder disputes, business litigation and representing employers in all types of issues. She has extensive experience defending employers in discrimination, whistle blower, non-compete and wrongful termination claims in federal and state courts.
Ms. Hasbrook served for more than a decade as in-house counsel for the nation's sixth largest public utility and has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® for Employment Law - Management (2012-2014) as to "Who's Who in Toledo Area Law" by the Toledo Business Journal (2009-2014). She earned her J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law and her B.S.B.A. from The University of Toledo, receiving magna cum laude honors.
