Roetzel & Andress is proud to announce that attorney Tom Rosenberg, a shareholder in the firm’s Columbus office, will be honored with the prestigious Microtunneling Achievement Award at the 2025 Microtunneling Short Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. The award will be presented during the banquet dinner on May 7, 2025, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to this industry.
Rosenberg has served as legal counsel to the North American Microtunneling Association (NAMA) since 2012 and has been an active participant in its annual meetings, which gather contractor and engineer representatives from across the industry. Rosenberg is the first recipient of the Microtunneling Achievement Award to be honored for his legal service, rather than as a contractor, engineer or equipment supplier.
“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Rosenberg. “The microtunneling industry has been a key focus of my practice for many years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve such an innovative and dynamic field. I look forward to continuing to support the industry and its growth in the years to come.”
The Microtunneling Achievement Award, which was established in 2002, is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to the microtunneling industry. Each year, the association recognizes two or three industry leaders whose contributions and achievements have made a significant impact.
At Roetzel, Rosenberg focuses his practice on construction law and civil litigation, and leads the firm’s Construction Law practice, which has been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the best law firms nationally and regionally for construction and construction litigation from 2012 to 2025. He is a Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers and served on its Board of Governors. Rosenberg is also a past Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law. He has been honored by Chambers USA as a leading construction lawyer in Ohio since 2003 and is currently listed in Band One for construction lawyers in Ohio.
