Roetzel & Andress Names Paul Giordano to Lead National Business Litigation Practice Group

Roetzel & Andress LPA has named Fort Myers attorney Paul Giordano to lead the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Giordano will succeed Lori L. Heyer-Bednar who is the Partner-in-Charge of the Fort Lauderdale office.

Roetzel’s Business Litigation group is the firm’s largest practice area team, with 38 attorneys based across the firm’s 11 offices located throughout Ohio, Florida, Chicago and Washington, D.C. The group’s attorneys serve a wide range of clients, from national and international corporations and closely held and family-run businesses, to institutions, organizations and individuals. The litigation group possesses substantial litigation, arbitration, and mediation experience across a number of practice areas, including “Bet-the-Company,” Business & Commercial, Liability Defense, Toxic Tort, Transportation, Labor & Employment and Environmental.

Giordano handles a variety of business, commercial and banking litigation, with a special focus on bankruptcy & creditors' rights, troubled debt restructuring, workouts, and related litigation, partnership disputes, commercial foreclosures, contract and corporate disputes, construction liens and general and professional liability lawsuits. He regularly assists national, regional and community banks in stabilizing distressed commercial and industrial properties, from negotiating pre-foreclosure agreements to advocating for the appointment of receivers and judicial sales. He also has experience in insurance coverage litigation, and jury and non-jury trial practice. Mr. Giordano earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
