Roetzel Announces Two Newly Elected Shareholders

Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that Christina M. Kuta and Ashley L. Suarez have been elected as new shareholders, effective January 1, 2025.

Kuta is based in the firm’s Chicago office and is a member of the Corporate, Tax & Transactional Group. She focuses her practice on health care regulatory and transactional law. She represents physicians, health care providers, and organizations in a variety of matters, including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, employment agreements, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and HIPAA. Kuta also advises on Medicare and Medicaid regulations, frequently assisting clients with audits, investigations, and licensure hearings. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law, an LL.M. from Saint Louis University School of Law. She earned both a B.S. and an M.S.W from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

Suarez, practicing out of Roetzel’s Fort Myers office and a member of the Real Estate Group, focuses her practice on real estate law, with an emphasis on complex real estate transactions, real estate development, homebuilder finance (land banking), community association law and closing and title services. She represents real estate investors, developers, homebuilders, companies and individuals in a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, land bank financing, development and construction, commercial leasing, and title claims. Suarez also advises real estate and corporate clients on entity formation, protecting brand standards and intellectual property, and general business issues. Suarez earned her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University.
