Roetzel Adds Jon Fishbane to Naples Office

Roetzel has added Jon Fishbane as of counsel in its Employment Services Group in Naples.

Fishbane focuses his practice on labor and employment law and litigation, advising and representing employers in matters involving hiring, discipline, termination, harassment, employee handbooks, employment contracts, employee benefits, and compliance with the ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and FMLA, as well as union matters. He has also had extensive experience in school law and litigation, constitutional and First Amendment matters, administrative proceedings, and construction-related issues and litigation when he served as the General Counsel for Collier County School District from 2009-2025. 

While serving in private practice, he represented clients across a wide range of industries, including commercial retail services, manufacturing, construction, international business, information technology, real estate and development, professional services, and insurance, as well as the public and education sectors.

Fishbane also previously served as Adjunct Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, teaching philosophy, rhetoric, and communications, and as Adjunct Professor of law at Ave Maria University.

Fishbane earned his B.A., cum laude, and his M.A. from the University of Massachusetts. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
