Roetzel Partner Paul A. Giordano Assumes Chairmanship of Coastal Conservation Association Florida

The law firm of Roetzel & Andress LPA is pleased to announce that Paul A. Giordano, a partner in the firm’s Fort Myers office, assumed the role of Chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida (CCA) on December 12, 2015. Mr. Giordano previously served as the CCA’s Vice-Chairman.

“I am honored and humbled by my appointment as Chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association Florida,” said Mr. Giordano. “I am proud to follow in the footsteps of many great men that filled this role over the years. I have big shoes to fill and I look forward to continuing the hard work of CCA Florida.”

The CCA has as its objective the conservation, promotion and enhancement of both the present and future availability of Florida’s coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public. Among other activities, the CCA is engaged in hundreds of local, state and national projects. It initiates scientific studies, funds marine-science scholarships, monitors the quality and quantity of freshwater inflows and supports local marine law enforcement.

Through broad-based recreational angler support; a strong legal and legislative presence; decades of experience; and an unwavering vision for the future of U.S. and global marine resources, CCA battles for the sustainable health of our coastal fisheries and for recreational anglers’ interests.

Mr. Giordano handles a variety of business and commercial litigation, with a special focus on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, partnership disputes, commercial foreclosures, contract and corporate disputes, and general and professional liability lawsuits. He also has experience in insurance coverage litigation, and jury and non-jury trial practice. Mr. Giordano earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
