Roetzel Promotes Three Associates to Shareholder

It is with great pleasure that Roetzel & Andress LPA announces the promotion of three of its associates, Tammi J. Lees, Nathan Pangrace and Laura L. Wallerstein, to shareholder. 

“Tammi, Nathan and Laura are incredibly talented attorneys,” said Robert E. Blackham, Roetzel’s Chairman. “They are integral to our firm and clearly represent its future. We are very pleased to welcome them as our newest shareholders.”

Tammi J. Lees is based in the firm’s Cleveland office and is a member of the Medical Defense Group where she focuses on defending health care providers and institutions in civil litigation involving professional liability and general liability claims.  She has extensive experience defending her clients against medical and dental malpractice claims, as well as a variety of other claims including discrimination, defamation, and premises liability.  Ms. Lees was selected as an “Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers magazine in 2009 and 2010 and again in 2017 and 2018. She earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating with cum laude honors, and her B.A. from LeMoyne College, summa cum laude.

Nathan Pangrace, also of the firm’s Cleveland office, is a member of the Employment Services Group, where he focuses his practice on business and employment litigation. He is certified as a Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Ohio State Bar Association and has been selected as an “Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers magazine from 2015 through 2018. He has a broad background, with experience litigating all manner of contract, commercial, corporate, and employment issues and disputes. He also regularly defends businesses against charges of discrimination, unfair labor practice charges, and OSHA citations. In addition, Mr. Pangrace helps businesses comply with all manner of laws governing the workplace, including those related to employee discrimination and harassment, leaves of absence, wage and hour requirements, disability accommodation, workplace health and safety, labor unions, unemployment, and workers' compensation. He obtained his J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Laura L. Wallerstein of the firm’s Akron and Columbus offices is a member of the Real Estate Group. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, franchisee representation, as well as condominium and homeowner association matters. She is an emerging leader in the City of Akron and Summit County serving as a Commissioner on the Summit County Charter Review Board and a member of the Downtown Akron Partnership’s Executive Committee.  Attorney Wallerstein has been recognized with the “Woman of the Year” award by the Summit County Historical Society, the “30 for the Future” award from the Greater Akron Chamber, the “Young Professional Award” from ATHENA Akron, and the “Emerging Leader Award” from Women’s Network, among others. She was a part of Leadership Akron, Class 34 and has been selected as an “Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers magazine in 2014, 2017 and 2018. Laura attended Oberlin College, where she earned a B.A. in Economics. She subsequently earned both an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Akron’s College of Business Administration and School of Law, respectively.
