Roetzel Receives Top Rankings in Chambers USA 2013
Two Areas of Practice and Five Partners Recognized

Roetzel has once again been ranked as one of Ohio’s top law firms in the 2013 Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (“Chambers”) for two key practice areas: Litigation: General Commercial and Natural Resources & Environment. Chambers also recognized five of the firm’s partners individually as leading lawyers in their respective practice areas.

“As in years past, we are honored to be recognized by Chambers,” said Jeffrey J. Casto, Roetzel’s Chairman and CEO. “A Chambers ranking validates our client-focused approach to our work and the high level of professionalism practiced by our attorneys.”

Chambers & Partners, a U.K.-based publisher of legal guides, compiles annual rankings of leading firms and lawyers in an extensive range of practice areas throughout the country using independent, objective and client-focused interviews and research. Criteria include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence and commitment.

Roetzel is acknowledged as a leading firm in the categories of both Litigation: General Commercial and Natural Resources & Environment. Roetzel’s Litigation Group is highlighted by Chambers for its visibility in the Ohio market, particularly in the fields of white-collar criminal work, high-stakes arbitrations and enforcement. Chambers noted that the Environmental Group’s “environmental, energy, and health and safety practice continues to be respected by market observers for its handling of regulatory compliance and enforcement matters in the air and water spaces, as well as for its representation of oil and gas companies.”

Five Roetzel partners were individually cited by Chambers as leading lawyers in their respective practice areas.

  • Robert B. Casarona, Roetzel’s Partner-in-Charge of its Cleveland office, is recognized for his work in two practice areas, business litigation and environmental disputes.
