Roetzel’s Anna Moore Carulas Receives 2025 MPL Industry Defender Award

Roetzel & Andress is proud to announce that Anna Moore Carulas, has been selected as one of five recipients of the 2025 MPL Industry Defender Award by the Medical Professional Liability Association. 

This annual award honors defense attorneys for their exceptional and outstanding lifelong contribution to defending physicians and health care professionals, as well as their excellence in advocacy, leadership and service to clients and the broader healthcare community.   

With nearly four decades of experience, Carulas has successfully represented physicians, hospitals, and a wide range of healthcare providers in hundreds of medical malpractice cases, including catastrophic injury and high-exposure claims. 

She is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Senior Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America, and has been consistently recognized for her excellence in medical malpractice defense by Ohio Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.
